PEREZPUIG / Souvenir 154 es un espacio expositivo y una plataforma de investigación dedicada a la práctica de artistas caribeños interdisciplinarios, con un enfoque crítico en los modos en que la identidad cultural se configura a través de prácticas materiales y procesos de memoria colectiva. Establecida en el epicentro turístico del Viejo San Juan colonial, PEREZPUIG / Souvenir 154 constituye una subversión de las expectativas visuales producidas por la economía del visitante, proponiendo una visión del Caribe fundamentada en saberes vernáculos y epistemologías situados. Desde 2018, la galería ha presentado más de 40 exposiciones individuales y colectivas, y ha exhibido a más de 100 artistas puertorriqueños, tanto consagrados como emergentes.

PEREZPUIG / Souvenir 154 is an exhibition space and a research platform dedicated to the practice of interdisciplinary Caribbean artists, with a critical focus on the ways in which cultural identity is shaped through material practices and processes of collective memory. Established in the tourist epicenter of colonial Old San Juan, Souvenir 154 constitutes a subversion of the visual expectations produced by the visitor economy, proposing a vision of the Caribbean grounded in vernacular knowledge and situated epistemologies. Since 2018, the gallery has presented more than 40 solo and group exhibitions and has showcased over 100 Puerto Rican artists, both established and emerging.
